Groups we support

We at SAVE ME offer our support to the makers of the new film “A Minority Pastime”.

A preview of the film is soon to be screened in David Cameron's constituency of Witney, and there will be a Press launch in London on 27th April, with the official launch also in London on Tuesday 4th May.

The film is based around video footage gathered from Hunt Monitors, and shows deeply disturbing scenes of violent and callous behaviour in various forms from members of the fox-hunting fraternity. Some of the most upsetting moments are glimpses of cruelty and disregard for the hounds themselves, as well as the abuse of foxes which is the focus of the whole event. The timing is of course very relevant, as the election approaches. The film will shock many people who were not aware of the extreme nature of the Hunt's activities, and not aware of David Cameron's intimate connection with this minority group; as such it's an important context for forming an overview of the coming choices in the election.
